MICHAEL J. WEITHORN

Award-winning writer-producer Michael J. Weithorn, who has been associated with several major hit television shows, serves as Co-Creator and Executive Consultant.

Prior to THE KING OF QUEENS, Weithorn created and produced the sitcom "Ned & Stacey," which ran for two seasons from 1995-97. With Ralph Farquhar, Weithorn created and executive produced "South Central," an edgy, dramatic half-hour which aired to great acclaim in the spring of 1994. Additionally, Weithorn served as Creator and Executive Producer of the Twentieth Television sitcom "True Colors" from 1990-92.

Weithorn's writing credits include several sketches for "The Tracey Ullman Show." He also penned an episode of "The Wonder Years," an effort which earned the writer-producer an Emmy® nomination. Upon the formation of Weithorn's production company, Hanley Productions, with Twentieth Century Fox, he wrote and produced "The Pursuit of Happiness." which aired in 1987.

Beginning as a Story Editor and advancing to Supervising Producer, Weithorn spent four years on the hit series "Family Ties." He received three Emmy® Award nominations for producing the hit television series and another Emmy® nomination for writing the two-part 1985-86 season premiere, entitled "The Real Thing," during his tenure with the show.

Winner of the 1984 Writers Guild of America Award for an episode of "Cheers," Weithorn has always been driven to succeed as a comedy writer. After teaching history at the Brentwood School, Weithorn began his writing career taking a position as Story Editor for the sitcom "Making the Grade."

A native of Port Washington, New York, Weithorn earned a B.A. degree in Political Science from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania.



TONY SHEEHAN

Tony Sheehan brings over twenty-five years of television experience to his role as Executive Producer.

A long-standing writer and producer, Sheehan garnered 10 Emmy® nominations for his work on the classic television series, "Barney Miller." He also received an Emmy® nomination as well as a Writer's Guild Award nomination for Tracey Ullman's 1994 HBO Special.

Sheehan was a Consulting Producer for the hit sitcom "Dharma & Greg." He also served as Co-Executive Producer for "Something So Right" as well as "Ned & Stacey." His television credits also include "Mr. Belvedere" (Executive Producer) and "Sister Kate" (Executive Producer).

In addition to his work on television, Sheehan helped pen the sequel to the Oscar®-winning special-effects comedy "Who Framed Roger Rabbit."



JEFF SUSSMAN

Jeff Sussman serves as one of the Executive Producers.

Sussman has been working in comedy since 1979 and started his personal management business in 1985. He has executive produced Kevin James' one-hour comedy special "Sweat the Small Stuff" for Comedy Central as well as "Making The Cut: The Road To Pebble Beach" for HBO. He has also produced "Joe Rogan Live!" for Showtime and "I'm Gonna Be Dead Someday," Joe Rogan's comedy CD.

His film credits include producing the film "Melvin Goes to Dinner," directed by Bob Odenkirk, and "Grilled," featuring client Kevin James and Ray Romano.
